Making the universe a better place, one tech problem at a time.

Welcome to the U.S.S. Archimedes, a unique, prototypical engineering variant of the Prometheus class. As such, the Archimedes has all the hallmarks of the Prometheus class (regenerative shielding, ablative hull armour and, of course, the multi-vector assault mode), plus a little bit extra. We've scrapped the marine division and the Starfighters to make room for more labs, perfect for all the scientists and engineers out there.

The Archimedes is part of a specialized division of Starfleet known as the SCE, or, Starfleet Corps of Engineering. So if you're looking for a sim with a focus on science and technology, you're in the right place! The Starfleet Corps of Engineers are renowned throughout the galaxy as individuals with brilliant minds and exceptional skill in the creation, manipulation and maintenance of technology. If you feel as though you fit the bill, have a look around...

As many of you have already done over the course of our continuing JP, please join me in welcoming Lieutenant JG Jasper Paris to our ship. He's taking on the role of one of our science officers - an important position indeed considering that we're a science/engineering sim.

Welcome, aboard, Jasper!

Hi, y'all!

In the interest of recruitment, I've started something of an affiliation program for the Archimedes.

As you can already see, we're currently affiliated with the USS Jefferson (a TF sim run by our own Ieuan), and E.L.F, an RP forum based in the universe of the anime 'Fairy Tail'.

As you can see, the site can be affiliated with even non-Star Trek sims. So, if you want to affiliate with us, please send me a PM.

Regards,

Commander Ari

We've taken the bronze for UoD for April. Considering that we dropped down to about five players (including myself), for that month, I'd say that's pretty damn impressive.

Read all about it:

"April was a pretty good month for Theta Fleet. Most of the sims had some activity and those who won awards did a stellar job.

The Admiral's Choice Award goes to the USS London for her solid record as a great sim and for her amazing crew.

Unit of Distinction
Gold: Inti Colony
Silver: USS Calypso
Bronze: USS Archimedes
Admiral's Choice: USS London

Writer of the Month:
Darrell. Four of his COs have commented on how Darrell contributes to their sims. He jumps in and tags whenever needed, he'll do solo posts to move the plot along and he is always willing to talk about ideas.

Player of the Month:
Nick R. Nick is CO of the Ascendant and XO of the Calypso. He is also over the TF Academy and the Forums. In spite of being very busy as PFXO in Pegasus Fleet, he is always willing to help out in TF. Especially if it causes trouble."

Commander Ari

» March Awards

Our streak of awesomeness remains unbroken! Read all about it here:

"March was a great month. Activity picked up, sims had some great story lines, and players had fun. What more could a fleet ask?

Unit of Distinction Awards
Gold: Archimedes & Calypso
Silver: Protector & Typhon
Bronze: London & Inti

Writer of the Month
Darrell, who has helped many of his sims by posting a lot.

Player of the Month
Marty, who stepped up as XO of Typhon, started posts with everyone, then contacted them to get them active again on the sim.

CO of the Quarter
If you’ve paid attention to the awards lately, ti’s no surprise that the CO of the quarter is Ariel Ostheimer. She motivates her crew to post and most of all, to have fun. The players on her sim love the missions and love causing trouble.

XO of the Quarter
Marty. For the same reason he received player of the month. Marty motivated the crew of the Typhon to get involved again and has done a great job"

(Taken from the TF main page)

Guys! I'm blushing. =^_^=

And a big shout-out to Darrel (Ka'Tock), who's devotion is part of the reason for this sim's continuing success.

Thank you all,

Commander Ari

The ever-present thrumming noise of the warp core which reverberated through the ship was gone, silenced.

"The core must've given out..." Ari thought, belatedly.

All at once the ship was pitched out the other end of the black hole. Ari was thrown from her seat by the sudden jolt,…
